Broadblue have an ethos of seaworthy boats that look after their crews, sail well and are designed to be single handed. Good sailing characteristics thanks to the Dazcat input and Broadblue's generous family accommodations whilst being practical for owner maintenance. As Sailing Today said, 'Ultimately, if you're after a cruising Catamaran in this size bracket, Look no further... this model is excellent.'
The mast is set further aft to allow sail handling to be conducted safely from the cockpit, this configuration reduces pitching and allows for the use of easy handling roller furling headsails providing a huge power house which is easily controlled and eased but also draws the boat down wind in gusts to avoid any pressure on the helm. The Broadblue 346 is the latest model of the type with numerous small changes over its predecessors. It is an ideal catamaran for families and couples, small enough to make a passage through the French canals, but robust enough to carry a Category A (Ocean) status, all with 2m headroom throughout the boat.
A beautifully crafted catamaran, whose predecessors have sailed all over the World. Copper anti-fouled.
