The Iroquois MKll is a catamaran sailboat designed by J.R. (Rod) Macalpine-Downie and built by Sailcraft Ltd. The hull is made of fibreglass. It has a fractional rig. A fractional rig has smaller headsails which make tacking easier, which is an advantage for cruisers and racers, of course. It has a centreboard keel, a pivoting lifting keel, allowing to sail both coastal and inland waters. It is a light, simple boat which sails well they are capable of serious sailing or cruising, family sailing. These are fast, well performing little catamarans and loads of fun. The auxiliary power was provided by a 10hp outboard engine, this one has a nearly new, very low hours Yamaha 9.9. Though it has recent new windows, this boat will require some refitting but is a nice, clean example.
